Good morning, family!
This week has been a little crazy with Sister Marshall going home on this Wednesday and transfers just around the corner on Thursday! I'm so eager to know what will happen!
With MLC on Tuesday, I got to work with Sister Enhkbolt and it was so amazing!! We had a really incredible day - we caught one of our investigators at home and got to have a really wonderful discussion with her. We ended up talking about the Plan of Salvation, then came back after another appointment and did service for 2 hours with her. Building that relationship is really important, and I was definitely able to feel that as we were with her! The other thing from that day was that we got to meet with Randy and Sibo, potential investigators. They are from Zimbabwe, and through a whole chain of events have found themselves here in Twin Falls with a member, Sister Jelovchan. They're both in limbo now with adjusting to Idaho and finding jobs, so we're waiting on starting lessons with them. They're both really wonderful people and we hope that we'll be able to work with them!
On Wednesday, we had lessons with Alex and with Trevor. Trevor is just taking off! He was so attentive during our lesson (Plan of Salvation), and we went through all the things he didn't understand and talked about patriarchal blessings and baptisms for the dead. AND he received the Aaronic priesthood on Sunday!!! He is so amazing! Our lesson with Alex was fine. We got to understand Alex's core beliefs a little bit better, but we didn't really teach anything other than the importance of reading the Book of Mormon. So this upcoming lesson, we will be just reading out of 2 Nephi 2 to introduce him to the Plan of Salvation. We're praying!
Since Sister Marshall leaving Tuesday morning, I'm going to be in a trio for Tuesday and Wednesday with two greenies! We'll be in my area, and I'm a little nervous but I think we'll have fun together :)
